# What You'll Need:

→ Proteins and Seasonings

01 - ½ lb (8 oz) uncooked 99% lean ground turkey breast
02 - ½ teaspoon salt, divided
03 - ¼ + ⅛ teaspoons black pepper, divided
04 - ⅓ teaspoon ground sage
05 - ⅓ teaspoon ground thyme
06 - ⅛ teaspoon dried marjoram
07 - ⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
08 - ⅛ teaspoon paprika

→ Eggs and Dairy

09 - 4 large eggs
10 - 3 oz 50% reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese, divided

→ Condiments and Wraps

11 - ¼ cup medium heat salsa
12 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
13 - 4 low carb 8-inch tortillas

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey with ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, ground sage, ground thyme, dried marjoram, crushed red pepper flakes, and paprika. Mix thoroughly until evenly blended.
02 - Heat a large skillet over medium heat, lightly greased with cooking spray. Add the seasoned turkey and cook, breaking into small pieces, until fully cooked through. Transfer cooked turkey to a clean bowl. Wipe skillet clean with a paper towel.
03 - Whisk together eggs with remaining ¼ teaspoon salt, ⅛ teaspoon black pepper, and a splash of water. Spray skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium. Pour in eggs and scramble gently until cooked through. Break into small chunks and transfer to bowl with turkey sausage.
04 - Add half the shredded cheddar cheese, salsa, and chopped cilantro to the turkey and eggs. Stir until evenly incorporated.
05 - Lay tortillas flat on a clean surface. Evenly distribute approximately ⅔ cup of filling onto each. Fold in the edges and roll the tortillas tightly into burritos.
06 - Heat a griddle pan or skillet lightly sprayed with cooking spray over medium heat. Place burritos seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes until golden. Flip and cook an additional 2 minutes on the other side to crisp and brown. Remove from heat and sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese inside if desired.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For make-ahead use, refrigerate filling separately and reheat approximately 2/3 cup before wrapping in tortillas. To freeze, cool filling completely before assembling. Wrap burritos tightly and freeze up to three months.
