Cover or transfer the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until the mixture sets to a thick glaze-like consistency.

Remove chilled mixture from the fridge and fold in one tub of fully thawed Cool Whip using a mixer on medium until mostly smooth and uniformly pale pink.

Add the second tub of Cool Whip and continue mixing until completely combined and stiff peaks form on the whisk, creating a light, fluffy topping.

Use immediately for spreading or piping, or refrigerate covered for at least 1 hour to achieve firmer texture suitable for piping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to five days.
