Tasty Quesadilla Beef Burgers (Printer-Friendly)

Flavorful beef patties with mexi-ranch, pico de gallo, cheese, and crispy tortillas for a savory meal.

# What You'll Need:

→ Beef Patty

01 - 1/2 pound lean ground beef (90-95% lean)
02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Mexi-Ranch Sauce

04 - 1/4 cup ranch dressing
05 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh cilantro
06 - 1 teaspoon lime juice
07 - 1/2 teaspoon chili powder

→ Assembling

08 - 2 small flour tortillas, approximately 5 inches diameter
09 - 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
10 - 1/4 cup fresh pico de gallo or chunky salsa
11 - 1/4 cup shredded lettuce

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Divide ground beef into two equal portions and shape each into a 5-inch diameter patty. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
02 - Heat a grill pan or griddle over medium heat. Cook patties for 5 minutes per side for medium-well doneness, adjusting time for preferred doneness.
03 - Combine ranch dressing, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and chili powder in a small bowl. Stir well and set aside.
04 - Place tortillas on a clean pan over medium heat. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over one tortilla, top with the second tortilla, and cook until the cheese melts and tortillas are crisp, about 2-3 minutes per side.
05 - Spread mexi-ranch sauce on the cheesy tortilla stack. Place cooked beef patty on top, add fresh pico de gallo, and shredded lettuce. Top with the second cheesy tortilla and press gently.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Use 90-95% lean beef for optimal flavor and moisture balance. Adjust cooking time to achieve preferred doneness. If unable to find 5-inch tortillas, select similar street taco size.
