Savory turkey and bacon sliders topped with creamy cheese sauce on sweet Hawaiian rolls.

# What You'll Need:

→ Sauce

01 - 4 tablespoons salted butter
02 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
03 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
04 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
05 - 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
06 - 2 cups whole milk
07 - 1 1/2 cups shredded Gruyere cheese

→ Sliders

08 - 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls, sliced in half lengthwise
09 - 8 ounces sliced deli turkey
10 - 6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
11 - 3 medium tomatoes, sliced

→ Glaze

12 - 3 tablespoons melted butter
13 - 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, packed
14 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
15 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
16 - 1/2 teaspoon dried onion flakes
17 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
02 - In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until smooth. Cook for 1 minute while whisking. Gradually add milk, continuing to whisk to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer and cook for another minute, whisking continuously. Remove from heat and stir in Gruyere cheese until fully melted. Set sauce aside.
03 - Place bottom halves of Hawaiian rolls, cut side up, into the prepared baking dish. Layer sliced turkey evenly over the rolls.
04 - Distribute chopped crispy bacon over the turkey. Spoon cheese sauce on top and gently spread evenly.
05 - Place a slice of tomato on each slider and sprinkle shredded Gruyere cheese evenly over all.
06 - Cover each slider with the top half of the Hawaiian rolls. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, dried onion flakes, and garlic powder until combined.
07 - Brush glaze generously over the tops of the rolls. Cover baking dish with nonstick foil, avoiding contact with the rolls if possible. Bake for 20 minutes.
08 - Remove foil and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
09 - Allow sliders to cool for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For best texture, use whole milk rather than reduced fat or skim milk in the cheese sauce.
02 - Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
