Tender spaghetti and savory meat cooked together for a flavorful, quick dinner using pressure cooking.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
02 - 1 medium yellow onion, finely diced
03 - 1 pound lean ground beef
04 - 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
05 - 1 teaspoon sea salt
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
08 - 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
09 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
10 - 12 ounces dry spaghetti, broken in half
11 - 24 ounces marinara sauce
12 - 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
13 - 3 cups water, divided

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and allow to preheat until 'HOT' displays.
02 - Pour olive oil into the pot and add diced onion. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring, until onion is slightly softened.
03 - Add lean ground beef, Italian seasoning, sea salt, garlic powder, black pepper, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic. Cook, breaking up the meat, until no pink remains.
04 - Press cancel. Pour 0.5 cup water into the pot and use a spatula to scrape any browned bits from the bottom.
05 - Arrange the broken spaghetti strands over the meat mixture in a criss-cross pattern to prevent clumping.
06 - Pour marinara sauce evenly over the pasta, then add the undrained diced tomatoes on top.
07 - Pour the remaining 2.5 cups water around the edges and over the top, ensuring all pasta is moistened. Gently press down with a spatula so the water reaches all layers.
08 - Secure the lid, set the valve to sealing, and select pressure cook/manual at high pressure for 5 minutes.
09 - When the cycle finishes, allow a natural pressure release for 5 minutes.
10 - Press cancel, carefully perform a manual pressure release, and open the lid when the pin drops. Stir spaghetti and meat sauce thoroughly before serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For best texture, break spaghetti in half and layer in different directions to minimize sticking during pressure cooking.
