Delicious foil packets of seasoned ground beef, potatoes, carrots, and onions for an easy hearty meal.

# What You'll Need:

→ Meat Mixture

01 - 1.5 lb lean ground beef
02 - 3 tbsp ketchup
03 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
04 - 1 tsp onion powder
05 - 1 tsp garlic powder
06 - 1 tsp kosher salt
07 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
08 - ½ tsp black pepper
09 - 3 tbsp water

→ Vegetables

10 - 900 g Yukon gold potatoes, diced (about 2 medium potatoes)
11 - 2 cups frozen sliced carrots
12 - 1 large sweet onion, sliced

→ Additional

13 - 2 tbsp olive oil
14 - 1 tsp garlic powder
15 - 1 tsp kosher salt
16 - ½ tsp black pepper
17 - 6 tbsp salted butter (1 tbsp per packet)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Combine ground beef, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, paprika, pepper, and water in a large bowl. Mix thoroughly and set aside.
02 - In a separate bowl, mix diced potatoes, frozen carrots, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
03 - Lay out six 18x12 inch sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil, sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Divide vegetable mixture evenly among packets, placing each in the center.
04 - Form meat mixture into six equal patties. Place one patty on top of the vegetables in each packet. Evenly distribute onion slices over the patties and top each with 1 tablespoon of butter.
05 - Fold and seal each foil packet tightly to prevent steam from escaping.
06 - Preheat grill to 400°F (medium-low to low heat). Place packets on the grill, close lid, and cook for 30 to 40 minutes or until the patties reach an internal temperature of 160°F and the vegetables are tender.
07 - Remove packets carefully from the grill and serve immediately.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Adding water to the ground beef mixture keeps the patties moist and tender.
02 - To make cheeseburgers, open the packet after cooking, add cheese, reseal, and let it melt for 5 minutes.
03 - You can customize vegetables with peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, broccoli, or cauliflower.
04 - For oven cooking, bake packets at 400°F for 30-40 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
05 - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
