Tender chicken breast marinated in honey and lime, grilled quickly for a flavorful meal.

# What You'll Need:

→ Poultry

01 - 450 grams boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced

→ Marinade

02 - 60 milliliters soy sauce
03 - 45 milliliters honey
04 - 30 milliliters vegetable oil
05 - Juice of 1 lime (approximately 30 milliliters)
06 - 15 milliliters Sriracha sauce (optional)
07 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 15 grams fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)

→ Skewers

09 - 8 to 9 metal or wooden skewers (wooden skewers soaked in water at least 15 minutes if used)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, lime juice, Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, and chopped cilantro. Stir thoroughly to blend ingredients.
02 - Add diced chicken breasts to the marinade and gently stir to coat all pieces evenly. Cover the bowl tightly and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour, up to 3 hours.
03 - Remove chicken from marinade and thread 8 to 9 pieces onto each skewer, ensuring even distribution.
04 - Preheat grill to medium heat, approximately 175°C (350°F).
05 - Place chicken skewers on the preheated grill and cook for 7 to 8 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 74°C (165°F) and chicken is fully cooked.
06 - Remove skewers from grill and serve immediately with fresh lime wedges to squeeze over chicken as desired.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 15 minutes to prevent burning during grilling.
02 - Sriracha is optional; omit or adjust based on spice preference.
03 - Agave syrup can be substituted for honey for a different sweetener.
04 - Chicken thighs can be used instead of chicken breasts for juicier skewers.
05 - This dish pairs well with cilantro lime rice or Asian slaw.
