Tender Crockpot Chicken Wings (Printer-Friendly)

Slow-cooked chicken wings, tender and juicy, finished with a flavorful sauce for easy, tasty appetizers.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main

01 - 3 pounds chicken wings, fresh or frozen

→ Sauce

02 - 1 cup buffalo sauce

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Place chicken wings in the slow cooker and toss with half of the buffalo sauce (½ cup).
02 - Cover and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours or on low for 3 to 4 hours until the wings reach an internal temperature of 165ºF.
03 - While wings are cooking, preheat the oven broiler to high heat.
04 - Transfer wings onto a wire rack set over a baking sheet. Brush with the remaining buffalo sauce and broil for 5 to 10 minutes, flipping halfway, until skin crisps to desired texture.
05 - Remove from broiler, toss with additional sauce if preferred, and serve immediately with optional celery and carrot sticks.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Broiling is optional but recommended to achieve the characteristic crispy skin.
02 - Fresh or thawed wings allow seasoning before cooking; frozen wings release more liquid requiring broiling to enhance texture.
03 - Ensure wings reach 165ºF internal temperature for safe consumption.
