Crock Pot Taco Sloppy Joes (Printer-Friendly)

A hearty taco-inspired filling simmered slowly with ground beef, beans, and enchilada sauce.

# What You'll Need:

01 - 1 pound ground beef

→ Canned Goods

02 - 1 can (15 ounces) refried beans
03 - 1 can (10 ounces) enchilada sauce

→ Seasonings & Condiments

04 - 1 packet taco seasoning mix
05 - 1 cup salsa

→ Bread

06 - 8 hamburger buns

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a skillet or slow cooker with sauté function, brown and crumble 1 pound of ground beef over medium-high heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
02 - Transfer browned beef to the slow cooker if not already there. Add refried beans, enchilada sauce, taco seasoning, and salsa. Stir thoroughly to combine.
03 - Cover and cook on low setting for 4 hours to allow flavors to meld and filling to thicken.
04 - Spoon the taco-flavored filling onto hamburger buns, garnish with desired toppings, and serve immediately.
