03 - 1 cup salsa, mild or preferred heat level

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Place ground beef into a 5 to 6-quart oval slow cooker and break apart using a spatula.
02 - Add taco seasoning and salsa to the ground beef. Mix thoroughly to combine all ingredients evenly.
03 - Cover with lid and cook on high for 2 hours or on low for 4 hours, stirring occasionally to break up meat further if desired.
04 - When fully cooked, stir the taco meat and serve hot with preferred accompaniments.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Substitute ground beef with ground turkey or pork as desired for alternative flavors. Adjust salsa type to control spiciness of the final dish. For finely crumbled texture, break apart meat several times while cooking.
