Peel and grate the carrots finely. Drain pineapple tidbits thoroughly to remove excess juice.

In a large mixing bowl, combine grated carrots, drained pineapple tidbits, and soaked raisins.

Add mayonnaise and granulated sugar to the bowl. Toss well to coat all ingredients evenly.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until well chilled. Stir again before serving.
