# What You'll Need:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 7 ounces (200 grams) unsalted butter, softened
02 - 3/4 cup (150 grams) granulated sugar
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 2 1/3 cups (300 grams) all-purpose flour
05 - 7 ounces (200 grams) chocolate chunks, dark, milk, or white
06 - 1/3 cup (50 grams) chopped walnuts (optional)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a large bowl, combine the softened butter and granulated sugar. Beat with a mixer or a wooden spoon until the mixture is light and fluffy.
02 - Add the egg to the creamed mixture and mix thoroughly until fully combined.
03 - Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the bowl, mixing until a smooth, cohesive dough forms.
04 - Gently fold in the chocolate chunks and, if using, the chopped walnuts, ensuring even distribution throughout the dough.
05 - Using your hands, form walnut-sized balls from the dough and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space for expansion.
06 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Bake the dough balls for 12–15 minutes, until lightly golden on the edges.
07 - Remove the baking sheet from the oven and allow the dough balls to cool briefly before serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Customize with preferred nuts or dried fruit for variation, and ensure the butter is fully softened for optimal texture.
