Chicken Quarters Instant Pot Hit (Printer-Friendly)

Tender chicken quarters with garlic and spices, ready in 35 minutes using your Instant Pot.

# What You'll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 chicken quarters, fresh
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1 medium onion, diced
05 - 1 cup chicken broth
06 - 1 teaspoon paprika
07 - 1 teaspoon salt
08 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Set the Instant Pot to Sauté mode and allow it to preheat until hot.
02 - Add olive oil to the pot. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic for 3–4 minutes until the onion is translucent and fragrant.
03 - Place chicken quarters in the pot. Sprinkle with paprika, salt, and ground black pepper. Ensure all sides of the chicken are evenly coated with spices.
04 - Pour in the chicken broth, ensuring it covers the base and mixes with the aromatics, scraping up any browned bits.
05 - Secure the lid and set the Instant Pot to high pressure for 25 minutes. Ensure the pressure valve is closed.
06 - Once cooking time is complete, release pressure carefully using the natural or quick release method according to your preference. Open the lid when safe.
07 - Remove the chicken quarters and serve hot, optionally garnished with fresh herbs.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For enhanced flavor, allow the chicken to rest for five minutes before serving.
02 - You may substitute or add dried herbs or spices, such as thyme or herbes de Provence, to taste.
03 - Leftover chicken can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen in airtight containers.
