BBQ Pulled Pork Sliders (Printer-Friendly)

Tender pulled pork with melted cheese and bacon on glazed Hawaiian slider rolls for a savory bite.

# What You'll Need:

→ Sliders

01 - 12 Hawaiian slider rolls
02 - 2 tablespoons butter, softened
03 - 1 pound pulled pork
04 - 2/3 cup barbecue sauce
05 - 6 slices white cheddar cheese
06 - 1/2 pound bacon, chopped into 2 to 3 inch pieces

→ Glaze

07 - 3 tablespoons butter, melted
08 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
09 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
10 - 1 teaspoon minced garlic

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Place slider rolls on a baking sheet and carefully cut them in half horizontally.
02 - Spread 1 tablespoon of softened butter on both the top and bottom halves of the slider rolls. Place the rolls in the oven for a few minutes until slightly browned.
03 - Combine pulled pork with barbecue sauce and warm thoroughly.
04 - Evenly spread the warm pulled pork mixture over the bottom halves of the slider rolls. Layer slices of white cheddar cheese over the pork, then sprinkle the chopped bacon over the cheese. Top with the roll halves.
05 - In a small bowl, melt butter and whisk together brown sugar, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic until well combined.
06 - Spoon the glaze generously over the top of the assembled sliders. Bake in the oven for 5 to 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops of the buns are golden brown.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - For best results, keep sliders attached during assembly to save time and preserve structure. Allow refrigerated sliders to warm for 30 minutes before baking to ensure even heating.
02 - Optional: Brown the buttered rolls under the broiler or in convection bake mode to enhance flavor and prevent sogginess.
03 - Variations: Substitute cheddar with Havarti or mozzarella cheese as desired, though cheddar provides optimal flavor and melt.
