Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders (Printer-Friendly)

Savory bacon and cheddar meld on sweet Hawaiian rolls with a buttery, garlic brown sugar glaze.

# What You'll Need:

→ Sliders

01 - 12 Hawaiian slider rolls

→ Meat

02 - 1 pound lean ground beef
03 - 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

→ Cheese

04 - 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
05 - 6 slices sharp cheddar cheese

→ Seasonings

06 - 1 teaspoon salt
07 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard

→ Glaze

09 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
10 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
11 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
12 - 1 teaspoon granulated garlic

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9x13 inch baking dish with aluminum foil. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them attached, and optionally toast the bottom halves.
02 - Fry bacon slices in a skillet until crisp. Transfer to paper towels to drain and crumble once cooled.
03 - Using the bacon drippings, cook ground beef in the skillet until no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
04 - Reduce heat to low. Season beef with salt, pepper, and dry mustard. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and heat for 1 minute to soften without fully melting.
05 - Spread the cooked beef mixture evenly over the bottom half of the rolls. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top, then layer with sharp cheddar cheese slices. Replace the top halves of the rolls.
06 - Combine melted butter, brown sugar, Italian seasoning, and granulated garlic. Spoon or brush the glaze evenly over the top of the slider rolls.
07 - Bake assembled sliders in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until the rolls are lightly browned and cheese has melted.
08 - Cut sliders apart using a serrated knife for clean portions or serve them whole to be pulled apart by hand. Enjoy warm.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Using bacon drippings to cook the ground beef enriches the flavor. Leaving rolls attached during baking saves preparation time.
02 - King’s Hawaiian rolls or similar size and sweetness are preferred for authentic slider texture and flavor.
