Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9-inch pie pan with the refrigerated pie crust and crimp the edges. Prick the bottom of the crust with a fork.

Line the crust with parchment paper or foil and fill with pie weights, dry beans, or uncooked rice. Bake on the middle rack for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove weights and parchment, then bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until the bottom is dry and lightly golden. Allow to cool slightly.

In a large bowl, whisk together apple butter, eggs, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and flour until smooth and combined.

Pour the filling into the prepared crust, smoothing the surface. Bake at 350°F on the middle rack for 35 to 40 minutes, until the edges are set but the center still slightly jiggles.
