Apple Butter Pie Delight (Printer-Friendly)

Flaky crust with smooth, spiced apple filling, blending sweet and warm fall flavors.

# What You'll Need:

→ Crust

01 - 1 refrigerated 9-inch pie crust

→ Filling

02 - 1 cup apple butter
03 - 2 large eggs
04 - 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9-inch pie pan with the refrigerated pie crust and crimp the edges. Prick the bottom of the crust with a fork.
02 - Line the crust with parchment paper or foil and fill with pie weights, dry beans, or uncooked rice. Bake on the middle rack for 10 to 12 minutes. Remove weights and parchment, then bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until the bottom is dry and lightly golden. Allow to cool slightly.
03 - In a large bowl, whisk together apple butter, eggs, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and flour until smooth and combined.
04 - Pour the filling into the prepared crust, smoothing the surface. Bake at 350°F on the middle rack for 35 to 40 minutes, until the edges are set but the center still slightly jiggles.
05 - Remove from oven and allow to cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Use room temperature ingredients to avoid lumps in the filling.
02 - If the crust browns too fast, cover edges with foil or a pie shield.
03 - Allow the pie to cool fully for clean, neat slices.
04 - Pie can be served chilled or at room temperature.
05 - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
