2-Ingredient Air Fryer Banana (Printer-Friendly)

Soft banana donut holes with a crisp crust, made effortlessly in the air fryer using only two ingredients.

# What You'll Need:

→ Primary

01 - 1 ripe banana
02 - 100 grams pancake mix

→ Optional Toppings

03 - 50 grams white granulated sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 30 grams powdered sugar
06 - 1 small banana (for glaze)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Peel the ripe banana and mash thoroughly in a medium mixing bowl using a fork until smooth without large chunks.
02 - Add pancake mix to the mashed banana and stir until the mixture begins to clump together.
03 - Lightly grease your hands with nonstick spray, then gently knead the dough until it just holds together, avoiding overmixing.
04 - Shape the dough into balls approximately 1 tablespoon in volume (about 1 inch in diameter), greasing hands as needed to prevent sticking.
05 - Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick spray and arrange the dough balls spaced about 1 inch apart to allow puffing; air fry in batches if necessary.
06 - Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 7 minutes until golden and puffed; carefully remove and repeat with remaining dough.
07 - Mix ¼ cup sugar with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon; spray warm donut holes with nonstick spray and roll them in the cinnamon sugar until evenly coated.
08 - Mash a small banana until smooth, then stir in powdered sugar to achieve a pourable glaze consistency; toss donut holes in the glaze and set aside to firm.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Consume donut holes warm for optimal texture and flavor. Store uncoated donut holes in an airtight container at room temperature up to four days. Avoid glazing if storing to prevent sogginess.
02 - Adjust air frying time if altering size of dough balls: smaller size requires less time, larger size requires more.
03 - For sweeter dough, incorporate vanilla extract and a tablespoon of sugar before shaping.
04 - If dough is dense, reduce pancake mix slightly or increase banana to improve moisture and texture.
