Adaptogen Reishi Chocolate Balls (Printer-Friendly)

Nut and date balls with reishi mushroom and cacao for a stress-relieving, wholesome snack.

# What You'll Need:

→ Nuts

01 - 1 cup walnuts
02 - 1 cup cashews

→ Fruits

03 - 1 cup Deglet Noor dates, pitted

→ Powders

04 - 3 tablespoons raw cacao powder
05 - 2 tablespoons reishi mushroom extract powder

→ Sweeteners

06 - 2 tablespoons honey (substitute with maple syrup for vegan option)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Soak half of the walnuts and cashews in water for 2 hours; drain and set aside. Keep the other half raw.
02 - Soak the pitted Deglet Noor dates in warm water for 30 minutes to soften; drain thoroughly.
03 - In a food processor, pulse the soaked nuts, raw nuts, soaked dates, cacao powder, and reishi powder until mixture is crumbly and begins to hold together.
04 - Add honey (or maple syrup for vegan) to the mixture and pulse until fully combined and sticky enough to form balls.
05 - Use your hands to roll the mixture into 20 even-sized balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter each.
06 - Place the balls on a lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up before serving.
